The Vale boasts a 14 mile stretch of protected coastline made up of dramatic cliffs and stunning beaches. It was awarded Heritage Coast status in 1972 and is one of the most spectacular coastlines in the UK.

This is a wide sand and pebble beach. A beautiful spot for setting up your deck chairs, building sand castles or taking a horse ride though the local stables. Children also love the stepping stones a few minutes from the beach, that cross the river tat flows out to sea. Stop for a bite to eat at The Pelican, overlooking the river.
