Windmill Farm Cottages are 18th century barn conversions located in the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan, a short journey from the market town of Cowbridge.
Only 10 minutes from Cowbridge, 15 minutes from Bridgend and Llantrisant, 20 minutes from Cardiff and 30 minutes from Swansea. 10 Minutes to either M4 J34 or 35. Situated on a working farm and surrounded by rolling hills with breathtaking panoramic views, this tranquil and peaceful setting makes it a perfect country retreat for a short break, family holiday or people working in the area. Whether you’re looking for country walks, fresh sea air or sophisticated shopping, our location has the best of all this and more at its fingertips. The Vale boasts a 14 mile stretch of protected coastline made up of dramatic cliffs and stunning beaches. It was awarded Heritage Coast status in 1972 and is one of the most spectacular coastlines in the UK. Choose from a wide range of activities including; golf, surfing, horse riding, karting, fishing and white water rafting and experience some of the local attractions such as Dyffryn House & Gardens, Llanerch Vineyard and numerous castle ruins. If you enjoy eating out, the choices are endless. From coffee and cake in our quaint market town cafes, to cream teas near the sea. From Sunday roasts, traditional pub grub and real ales at any one of our local country pubs to Thai, Chinese, Indian, tapas or fine dining. These are all within a 10minute drive. |
